1. On your Blogger Dashboard, click the Layout link for the blog you want to add the button to.

2. At the top of the Layout page, click the link for Edit HTML.

3. Where it says "Backup/Restore Template", click the link that says "Download Full Template" and save the .xml file to your hard drive. This file will help you restore your template, in case anything goes wrong.

4. In the "Edit Template" section, check the box at the top right that says "Expand Widget Templates".

5. Use your browser's search function to find this line:

<div class='post-footer'>

6. Find the 2 lines in your template that look like this:

<div class='post-footer'>
<p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-1'>

7. Copy and paste the following code between those 2 lines:

<!-- Footer Button Codes BEGIN -->
<div>
<p><span id='footer-buttons'>
<!-- things placed after this line will show on all pages -->

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;item&quot;'>
<!-- things placed after this line will only show on post pages -->

<!-- TwitThis Button BEGIN -->

<a href='javascript:(function(){TwitThisPop=window.open(%22http://twitthis.com/twit?url=%22+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+%22&amp;title=%22+((document.title)%20?%20encodeURIComponent(document.title.replace(/^\s*|\s*$/g,%27%27))%20:%20%22%22),%20%22TwitThisPop%22,%20%22width=600,%20height=500,%20location,%20status,%20scrollbars,%20resizable,%20dependent=yes%22);%20setTimeout(%22TwitThisPop.focus()%22,%20100);%20})()'><img alt='TwitThis' src='http://ajax.twitthis.com/chuug.twitthis.resources/twitthis_grey_72x22.gif' style='border:none;'/></a>

<!-- TwitThis Button END -->

<!-- Do Not Paste Any Code Below This Line -->
</b:if>
</span></p>
</div>
<!-- Footer Button Codes END -->

8. Click the button at the bottom of the page that says "Save Template".

If you get any red errors, leave a comment stating the specific error message, and I will try to help you out. If you get any errors beginning with "bX-", just try again tomorrow. Sometimes Blogger has issues with itself and waiting a bit can resolve them.

9. Look at your blog. If you have done this correctly, the button should appear on post pages only, and not the main page. Test the button by clicking it on a post and sharing one of your posts on Twitter.

10. If you would like to add other buttons to the footer of your posts, the comments in the code will help you decide where to put your button codes. One place will show on all pages, and the other will only show on post pages.

Good Morning Fellow Bloggers, this afternoon Dontirex will be showing you 7 ways to promote your website or blog with a bit of money. You can use them to generate raw traffic, improve your search engine rankings, gain visibility on your niche and so on. Despite the initial investment most of those techniques will pay off on the short to medium term. If you are expecting to make money with your website there is no reason to assume that you will not need to spend some as well, right?

1. AdWords: Google make billions of dollars every year from the AdWords-AdSense combo. Why is that? Because they work. Adwords is probably the most efficient method to generated raw traffic for your website. In order to get started you should create an account, add lots (by lots I mean hundreds if not thousands) of keywords that are related your site and set the maximum Pay-per-Click rate at $0.01. After that raise the rate by $0.01 every week or so until you start getting the desired amount of daily clicks. Notice that at lower bids the keywords will be reported as “Inactive for Search”. Do not worry about it, it just means that your ads will not appear on the search network (Google’s search results), but they will appear on the content network (websites of people that use AdSense).

2. Site-Specific AdWords: if you pay attention to the AdSense units you will see that most of them have a link titled “Advertise on this site”. This feature enables AdWords advertisers to create customized ads that will be displayed only on specific websites. Those ads work on a CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) rather than a CPC (cost per click) basis, but they can generate a good amount of very targeted traffic since you will be in control of where the ad will be displayed and of the message. You can get even better results if you use some creativity when designing the ads, click here for some examples.

3. StumbleUpon Ads: StumbleUpon is a very innovative social bookmarking site that allows users to discover great websites by using a browser toolbar. When the user clicks on “Stumble” he will be delivered a website that people with similar interested rated positively. The user is also able to give positive and negative ratings to any website that he visits on the Internet. StumbleUpon also offers advertising campaigns, called StumbleUpon Ads, where you can deliver your website directly to those “Stumblers”. It costs $0.05 per page delivered, but since the websites that appear on StumbleUpon usually have a high quality it is very likely that part of that paid traffic will convert into regular readers.

4. Text Link Ads: if you are trying to increase your search engine rankings to leverage organic traffic you should consider buying some text link ads. While those text links can also generate direct traffic the biggest benefit you will have is an improvement on your search rankings, specially if the links are placed on authoritative and relevant websites. There are several places to buy text links, including specialized companies like Text-Link-Ads and Text Link Brokers or online forums like Digital Point‘s market place.

5. Direct Banner Sales: most established websites sell banner ads or sponsorship plans directly. Those advertising deals usually are structured with weekly or monthly fees, regardless of the number of impressions or clicks that you will get. Despite this characteristic a banner placement can represent good value for money because apart from the direct traffic you will also create visibility and brand awareness. Readers of the website where you will display your banner will associate the message on the banner with your site or blog. Should they come across that banner or message two or three times it is very likely that they will get curious and decide to check what the buzz is all about. Another advantage of banner placements is the fact that people will unconsciously think that the author of the website endorses your content or product.

6. Sponsored Reviews: buying some sponsored reviews is a good way to kick-start a website. They will bring backlinks, traffic and RSS subscribers. There are many market studies confirming that “word of mouth” is the most efficient way to capture people’s attention, and that is just what you get with sponsored reviews. You can either pay a low price (sometimes as low as $5 per review) to get a large number of reviews from small sites or you can focus on large players (which can charge several hundreds of dollars for a single review) that are authorities on your niche. The best way to purchase sponsored reviews is through sites like SponsoredReviews.com, ReviewMe or PayPerPost.com.

7. Blog Networks: there are several blog networks founded around a traffic exchange principle. Basically you create an account for you blog and you earn credits by surfing other members’ blogs. Afterwards you can use those credits to make people visit your blog or to display your banners around the network. The interesting part is that most of those blog networks allow users to purchase credits with money, and the price is really convenient. You should be able receive hundreds of visitors or to get thousands of banner impressions for less than 10 dollars. Some blog networks that sell credits include Blog Explosion, Blog Soldiers and Blog Advance.

make money bloggingBlogging isn’t just an internet journal. We shouldn't forget that the web is a huge marketplace in which you are able to sell and promote various products or services. Also, weblogs really are a terrific type of marketing and approach to make money. Bloggers who become more well known and produce high-quality blogs often ask readers for donations and, as surprising as it may seem, individuals do give cash. The truth is, some bloggers are so effective at writing they produce wonderful posts and make about a thousand bucks each week merely out of donations.

The main element to getting good results in blogging is obtaining as many faithful readers as possible. To accomplish this, you need to create blogs that people really like reading. No matter what you write about, you can get visitors fascinated by your blog by simply writing genuinely and writing interesting posts. Include some humor, several of your experiences, and some things about your personal life.

The purpose of this is for you content to be exciting and have plenty of folks that would like to read through it again and again. In addition, they should enjoy your blog so much that they will suggest it to others to browse.

Many people are simply born with the talent to be great writers, whilst there are other folks who have to learn how to write excellent weblogs. Producing high-quality sites requires a great deal of practice. You need to try different writing styles. With enough practice, you will have readers fascinated by your blog posts and coming back for more.

Being a great author implies that you must have the ability to catch the reader’s interest at the very beginning of your writings. Immediately after you caught the reader’s focus, you now need to continue keeping their attention and reading the blog post all the way through. A decent writer can interest the reader all the way through to the conclusion of the post. However, a highly-skilled author will equally fulfill the reader, but also have them wanting more. This is how you will get lots of readers and, in turn, make money.

The skills for producing good weblogs can be learned through practice. Take a look at many of the most prosperous blogs. This will allow you to find out what writing approaches they employed to get readers to enjoy what they write. Examine their writing techniques while thinking of ways to enhance yours. This can definitely allow you to publish much more powerful weblogs that should definitely get people’s attention.

Soon enough, you’ll be able to mention that running a blog is unquestionably a great way to make money. Follow these guidelines and you will be more likely to achieve success through blogging.
There are millions of resources for you to tap into when it comes to blogs, a few of the best ones are highlighted here for your consideration.

Blogger.com is a website owned, and operated by Google that allows users to post blogs for free, and make money with AdSense. While blogger.com lacks the power of a Wordpress, it is easy for those that are interested in implementing their AdSense ads in a simple, little code, manner.

Wordpress.com is another blog publishing software that is known on the net as the most powerful, and sophisticated blog publishers out there. Wordpress is also free, and allows users to build blogs that are much more advanced than a blogger.com site would be. Wordpress.com also allows users to customize their blog more than most, and even implements free plug-ins that are also worthwhile.

Blogrankings.com is another great site that ranks all the latest and greatest blogs. The value of this site is to look at what other top bloggers are doing, and attempt to emulate it with your own blog. Understanding what makes a certain blog in your niche so popular can revolutionize the way you think about and post to your own blog, which could have long lasting positive effects.

TheFreeSite.com offers free blog resources that are as much fun, as they are useful. The site offers users free software, and plugins to enhance any blog, or even create one from scratch. Since so many blog updates are costly these days, TheFreeSite gives users a nice alternative with their free downloads of blog software.

Blogarama.com offers users a virtual telephone book of blogs from all areas of subject matter. No matter what your interest, or niche, this website can bring out the best and most popular blogs. This site is full of directory style listings, and even user ratings to help you search the net.

Ultimately the best blog resource is the one that caters to your needs, and thus must be sought out by you according to what you are trying to achieve. Seeking out your own best blog resources will certainly help you profit from blogs in the near future.

I hope you like this post.

Social media marketing is one of the best ways to increase blog traffic and grow your audience of blog readers. The tools of social media like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more give you a broader reach to get your content in front of more people. The best part is that most social media marketing can be done for free. Following are 15 easy ways that you can increase blog traffic with social media marketing.

1. Feed Your Blog Content to Your Social Media Profiles

Use a tool like Twitterfeed to automatically publish links to your blog posts on your Twitter and Facebook profiles. Also, take the time to set up your blog posts to automatically publish on your LinkedIn, Google+, and other social media profiles that allow it. This configuration can usually be done within your social media profile settings.

2. Add 'Follow Me' Social Media Icons to Your Blog

Add social media icons to your blog's sidebar inviting people to connect with you on Twitter, Facebook, and your other social media profiles. If your blog content is fed to those accounts (see #1 above), then you've created another way for people access your content when they're not actually visiting your blog!

3. Link to Your Blog from Your Social Media Profiles

Make sure your blog URL is included in all of your social media profiles. For example, include it in your Twitter bio, your Facebook profile, your LinkedIn profile, your YouTube channel description, and so on. Your goal is to always make sure your blog is just a click away.

4. Include the URL to Your Blog in Forum Post Signatures

If you actively publish posts in online forums, make sure a link to your blog is included in your post signature.

5. Automate Cross-Profile Publishing

Use a tool like TweetDeck, HootSuite, SproutSocial, or another scheduling tool to automatically publish links to your blog posts on multiple social media profiles at the same time.

6. Syndicate Your Blog Content

Syndicate your blog content through free and licensed syndication companies to increase exposure to your content.

7. Use Widgets and Social Tools Offered by Social Media Sites.

Most social media sites offer free widgets and tools to help you promote your profiles and ultimately, give all of your content more exposure. For example, Twitter and Facebook each offer a variety of widgets that you can add to your blog or other websites quickly and easily.

8. Publish Comments on Other Blogs with Your Blog URL

Find blogs related to your blog topic and publish comments to join the conversation and get on the blogger's radar screen as well as the radar screens of people who read that blog. Be sure to include your URL in the appropriate field in the comment form, so people can click through to read more of your content.

9. Hold a Blog Contest and Promote It Through Your Social Media Profiles

Hold a blog contest to generate short-term traffic to your blog and promote the blog contest to increase awareness and entries.

10. Include Sharing Links on Your Blog Posts

Make it as easy as possible for people to share your blog posts on their Twitter profiles, Facebook profiles, LinkedIn profiles, Google+ profiles, social bookmarking profiles, and so on by including share buttons. For example, the Retweet Button from Tweetmeme and the Sociable WordPress plugin provide easy ways to make your blog posts shareable.

11. Write Guest Blog Posts for Other Blogs in Your Niche

Find blogs in your niche and reach out to the owner of each blog to find out if the blog publishes guest posts. If so, write a great guest blog post and be sure to include a link to your blog in your bio that accompanies the post.
Before you start a blog, it's important to determine if blogging is right for you to ensure your blogging experience will be successful.

You Enjoy Spending Time Surfing the Web

Successful blogging requires a large time commitment and a great deal of sweat equity. Blogging doesn't stop after you write and publish a blog post. Instead, it requires promotion, visiting and reading other blogs and websites, staying abreast of news and issues related to your blog topic, and more. Most of your blogging activities will occur online. To be a successful blogger, you must enjoy reading, researching, spending time on your computer and surfing the web.

You Like to Write

If you abhor writing or writing doesn't come naturally to you, then blogging might not be for you. Building a successful blog requires frequent, meaningful updates, responding to comments, leaving comments on other blogs and more. Each of those success factors requires writing. To be a successful blogger, you must be able to write prolifically.

You're Passionate About Your Blog's Topic

Successful blogging requires that the blogger write frequent, meaningful posts about their blog's topic to attract new readers, keep readers interested and keep readers coming back. If you are only slightly interested in your blog's topic, it will be difficult to log in each day and come up with fresh, exciting posts and commentary. By choosing a topic you're passionate about, it will be easier to update your blog with a smile on your face each day.

You Can Commit to Blogging

Successful blogging is a commitment in terms of time and effort and requires a great deal of self-discipline and self-motivation. You must have the ability to fit blogging into your schedule and be commited to sticking to that schedule.

You're Comfortable Publicizing Your Thoughts, Opinions and Ideas

As a blogger, you will be publishing your opinions for the entire online community to read. While it is possible to remain anonymous and become a successful blogger, anonymous success is not the norm. To attract a large audience and appear legitimate in the blogosphere, more people have taken to sharing their identities and a fair amount of personal information online. As such, bloggers are exposed to negative responses to their posts, and sometimes those negative critiques can be hurtful. Successful bloggers can handle negative criticism.

You're Not Afraid of Technology and You Are Willing to Learn

Blogging requires some knowledge of the Internet and simple software. If you are afraid of your computer, then blogging may not be for you. Alternatively, if you are willing to learn, you can blog. Blogging and the Internet as a whole are ever-changing, and even the most successful bloggers are constantly trying to learn new things to further enhance their blogs. To be a successful blogger, you must be willing to learn how to get started and how to maintain and improve your blog in the future.

You're Willing to Take Risks

Much of successful blogging is related to taking risks from diving in and starting your first blog to launching your blog's first advertisement or adding the first link to your blogroll. To be a successful blogger, you have to be willing to try new things to enhance and promote your blog.

Introduction to a Blog Post:

A blog post is the most important part of your blog. Your posts are the entries that take up at least 75% of the screen space on your blog's site. Blog posts appear in reverse chronological order, so your blog stays timely, fresh and meaningful to visitors. It's your current content (in the form of blog posts) that will keep readers coming back to your blog again and again to read what you have to say about your blog's topic.

The Blog Post Title:

The title of your post is basically a headline. It is meant to lure readers in and entice them to read more. At the same time, blog titles are a useful tool in terms of search engine optimization. Search engines value titles strongly in ranking results and using popular keywords in your blog titles can help drive traffic to your blog. Just be careful to use keywords that are relevant to your blog post's content else your title could be considered spam by search engines and negatively affect the traffic sent to your blog.

Blog Post Publication Date:

Since blogs are most successful when they are updated frequently and provide timely content, readers will check the publication dates of your posts to determine the value of your blog. Blog posts that are published erratically with long gaps of time between posts are typically considered to be less valuable than blogs that offer more current and consistent posts.

Blog Post Author Byline:

The blog post's author byline is important to identify who wrote each post and is particularly important for blogs that are written by multiple authors. Furthermore, the author byline typically provides a link to your About Me page, which provides additional promotion for you and your blog.

Images in Blog Posts:

Images provide more than just color and visual relief from text heavy web pages on a blog. They also act as another way you can drive traffic to your blog. Many people perform keyword searches through search engines for the purpose of finding images and pictures online. By strategically naming the images you use in your blog posts to match relevant keyword searches, you can drive some of that image search traffic to your blog. Just make sure the images you use enhance your blog rather than detract from your blog and confuse your readers.

Links and Trackbacks in Blog Posts:

Most blog posts include links within the content of the post. Those links are used for two purposes. First, links are used to cite an original source of information or an idea used in a blog post or to provide additional information beyond the scope of your post. Second, they provide a breadcrumb trail and a tap on the shoulder to bloggers whose posts you are linking to in the form of a trackback. A trackback generates a link on the blog you're linking to in your post, which acts as an additional source of traffic to your blog as readers on that blog are likely to click on the trackback link and find your blog.

Blog Post Comment Section:

Aside from your blog post content, blog comments are the most important part of your blog. Comments are where your readers have an opportunity to join the conversation. It's essential to the success of your blog that you respond to the comments left by your readers to show you value them and to further build the two-way conversation on your blog and the sense of community your blog creates.

Blog Definition:

A blog (also called a weblog or web log) is a website consisting of entries (also called posts) appearing in reverse chronological order with the most recent entry appearing first (similar in format to a daily journal). Blogs typically include features such as comments and links to increase user interactivity. Blogs are created using specific publishing software.
Variations of the term blog:
  • Blogging: The act of writing a post for a blog
  • Blogger: A person who writes content for a blog
  • Blogosphere: The online community of blogs and bloggers

The World Before Blogging:

There was a time when the Internet was just an informational tool. In the early life of the World Wide Web some 20 years ago, websites were simple and provided a one-sided conversation. As time went on, the Internet became more interactive with the introduction of transaction-based websites and online shopping, but the online world remained one-sided.
That all changed with the evolution of Web 2.0 (the social web) wherein user-generated content became an integral part of the online world. Today, users expect websites to provide a two-way conversation and web logs (or blogs) were born.

The Birth of Blogs:

The earliest blogs started in the late 1990s as online diaries. Individuals posted information on a daily basis about their lives and opinions. The daily posts were listed in reverse date order, so readers viewed the most recent post first and scrolled through previous posts. The format provided an ongoing inner monologue from the writer.
As blogs evolved, interactive features were added to create a two-way conversation. Readers took advantage of features that allowed them to leave comments on blog posts or link to posts on other blogs and websites to further the dialogue.

Blogs Today:

As the Internet has become more social, blogs have gained in popularity. Today, there are over 100 million blogs with more entering the blogosphere everyday. Blogs have become more than online diaries. In fact, blogging has become an important part of the online and offline worlds with popular bloggers impacting the worlds of politics, business and society with their words.

The Future of Blogs:

It seems inevitable that blogging will become even more powerful in the future with more people and businesses recognizing the power of bloggers as online influencers. Anyone can start a blog thanks to the simple (and often free) tools readily available online. The question will likely become not, "Why should I start a blog?" but rather, "Why shouldn't I start a blog?"
Starting a blog can seem overwhelming, but in truth, it's one of the simplest ways to join the online community. Follow these tips to ensure your blog is positioned for success.

1. Define Your Goals

Before you start a new blog, it's essential that you define your goals for it. Your blog has a greater chance of success if you know from the beginning what you hope to accomplish with it. Are you trying to establish yourself as an expert in your field? Are you trying to promote your business? Are you simply blogging for fun and to share your ideas and opinions? Your short and long term goals for your blog are dependent on the reason why you're starting your blog. Think ahead to what you'd like to gain from your blog in six months, one year and three years. Then design, write and market your blog to meet those goals.

2. Know Your Audience

Your blog's design and content should reflect the expectations of your audience. For example, if your intended audience is teenagers, the design and content would be quite different than a blog targeted to corporate professionals. Your audience will have inherent expectations for your blog. Don't confuse them but rather meet and exceed those expectations to gain reader loyalty.

3. Be Consistent

Your blog is a brand. Just like popular brands such as Coke or Nike, your blog represents a specific message and image to your audience, which is your brand. Your blog's design and content should consistently communicate your blog's overall brand image and message. Being consistent allows you to meet your audience's expectations and create a secure place for them to visit again and again. That consistency will be rewarded with reader loyalty.

4. Be Persistent

A busy blog is a useful blog. Blogs that are not updated frequently are perceived by their audiences as static web pages. The usefulness of blogs comes from their timeliness. While it's important not to publish meaningless posts else you may bore your audience, it's essential that you update your blog frequently. The best way to keep readers coming back is to always have something new (and meaningful) for them to see.

5. Be Inviting

One of the most unique aspects of blogging is its social impact. Therefore, it's essential that your blog welcomes readers and invites them to join a two-way conversation. Ask your readers to leave comments by posing questions than respond to comments from your readers. Doing so will show your readers that you value them, and it will keep the conversation going. Continue the conversation by leaving comments on other blogs inviting new readers to visit your blog for more lively discussions. Your blog's success is partially dependent on your readers' loyalties to it. Make sure they understand how much you appreciate them by involving them and recognizing them through meaningful two-way conversation.

6. Be Visible

Much of your blog's success relies on your efforts outside your blog. Those efforts include finding like-minded bloggers and commenting on their blogs, participating in social bookmarking through sites such as Digg and StumbleUpon, and joining social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Blogging is not a demonstration of, "if you build it, they will come." Instead, developing a successful blog requires hard work by creating compelling content on your blog as well as working outside of your blog to promote it and develop a community around it.

7. Take Risks

Beginner bloggers are often afraid of the new blogging tools and features available to them. Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things on your blog. From adding a new plug-in to holding your first blog contest, it's important that you keep your blog fresh by implementing changes that will enhance your blog. Alternatively, don't fall prey to every new bell and whistle that becomes available for your blog. Instead, review each potential enhancement in terms of how it will help you reach your goals for your blog and how your audience will respond to it.

8. Ask for Help

Even the most experienced bloggers understand the blogosphere is an ever-changing place and no one knows everything there is to know about blogging. Most importantly, bloggers are part of a close-knit community, and the majority of bloggers understand that everyone is a beginner at some point. In fact, bloggers are some of the most approachable and helpful people you can find. Don't be afraid to reach out to fellow bloggers for help. Remember, the success of the blogosphere relies on networking, and most bloggers are always willing to expand their networks regardless of whether you're a beginner blogger or seasoned pro.

9. Keep Learning

It seems like everyday there are new tools available to bloggers. The Internet changes quickly, and the blogosphere is not an exception to that rule. As you develop your blog, take the time to research new tools and features, and keep an eye on the latest news from the blogosphere. You never know when a new tool will roll out that can make your life easier or enhance your readers' experiences on your blog.

10. Be Yourself

Remember, your blog is an extension of you and your brand, and your loyal readers will keep coming back to hear what you have to say. Inject your personality into your blog and adapt a consistent tone for your posts. Determine whether your blog and brand will be more effective with a corporate tone, a youthful tone or a snarky tone. Then stay consistent with that tone in all your blog communications. People don't read blogs simply to get the news. They could read a newspaper for news reports. Instead, people read blogs to get bloggers' opinions on the news, the world, life and more. Don't blog like a reporter. Blog like you're having a conversation with each of your readers. Blog from your heart.

Your blog must be around six month old and finally, your content must be unique as well as abide by Google Adsense TOS.

To meet this requirements, just follow the steps below and your chance of getting your Google Adsense application approved increases tremendously.

1.Sign up for a Blogspot blog at Blogger.com

2. Register a Domain name.

3. Set up your custom domain to work with your Blogger Blog

4. Write some articles about trends in your niche.

5. Share your blog to Facebook, Google+, Linkedin, Twitter, StumbleUpon and get some followers.

6. Try to get reasonable traffic to your blog. You might even want to pay for Facebook ads or Google Adwords to advertise your site.

7. Now go through your Blogger account and register for Google Adsense. You can do this by clicking the Monetize tab in your dashboard area.

We believe this will help out. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask us.
Google Adsense Alternatives with you here today not because I think they can replace and match Google Adsense head-to-head in terms of earning and contextual relevancy. No! They are not even close but they are still very good ways to monetize your blog even while you sleep. These alternatives are really good for bloggers in Nigeria and neighbouring countries. I will surely be writing on Adsense alternatives that everyone can use on their blogs in the nearest future.

There are several reasons you might want to try out Adsense alternatives on your blog, some of which are:
1. Google Adsense stopped serving Adsense to your site or you got yourself banned from the programme. Before I go on, let me inform you that if they stopped serving ads to your site, there is a way you can appeal for Adsense to show again. If you have appealed and you have got no response, then you might want to try out these Adsense alternatives.
2. I once read a quote from one of the richest men in the world, Warren Buffet, he said “Never depend on single income. Make investment to create a second source.” If you want to follow this quote, you might want to add these ad networks to also generate income from them in addition to Adsense.
The two good Adsense alternatives I have tested on my other blogs and have made people test are:

Google Adsense Alternatives For Nigerian Bloggers

1. AD:DYNAMO – Ad:dynamo works like Adsense too because they serve contextual ads to match your website content. It is very easy to set up and you can start creating ads in minutes too. When ads start showing on your blog, you can place them strategically like you do for Adsense to get high CTR. Choose the ad sizes & colours to suit your blog. Each time an ad is clicked, you earn.  They claim to share 50% of the total cost per click that was charged to the advertiser with us.The minimum payout is $20 and it is usually paid on the 1st business day of each month for the preceeding month’s earnings. Join Ad:dynamo to give them a try too and see if it works for your blog.
2. Adplacers – Adplacers Adserver is an online network of advertisers and publishers. It works like Adsense too but it’s targeted to Nigeria and West Africa site owners. You can earn from every “genuine clicks” ur website just like any pay-to-click programme. Adplacers Adserver allows you the choice of restricting ads of specific sites thereby giving the freedom of filtering out competitor ads. you don’t want to show the ads of your greatest competitor on your site, do you? This in my own opinion is a great feature and a plus for Adplacers. They have different ad formats to choose from and you can place as many as you want on your blog but you don’t want to irritate your readers with ads.
At the moment, Adplacers support Paypal and Check withdrawals as their mode of payments and the minimum payout is N5,000.

THIS TUTORIAL WITH SCREENSHOTS, will guide you with 7 easy steps to create your own free Blog at Blogger.com. Of course this will not be a top level domain like www.yourname.com because the domain is provided by Blogger for free and it is also hosted on their server.
What I’m saying in essence is that, your blog URL will be something like http://yourname.blogspot.com. At some point in your blogging life, you might want to change it to a top domain, a custom domain of your choice. This is not a problem because I have also prepared a simple step-by-step article to guide you on

How You Too Can Be Able To Change Your Blogspot URL to a Custom Paid Domain Name!

Step 6: You Should Now Write Your First Blog Post
That’s all you need to start your new Blogger.com Blog. So simple you’d say! Welcome to the Blogosphere!
BloggerWritePost
You can now be able to create pagination (numbered navigation or page numbers) with the code I have in this post. Blogspot blogs do not have page numbered navigation by default. The usual themes provide only the type of navigation with:
Newer Post, Home and Older post.
You can now change this by using a simple code. This will create a better navigation experience for you and your blog readers.
If you are not someone that really in love with adding and editing code, don’t worry because everyone can do it. It’s just the same process as in when you are adding a new gadget. All you need to do is just add the following code to a HTML or JavaScript Gadget.
    <style type='text/css'>#blog-pager{padding:10px 0;clear:both;}
    .showpageNum a {color:#333333;text-decoration:none;border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;margin:0 3px;padding:3px 7px;background-color:#FFFFFF;}
    .showpageNum a:hover, .showpage a:hover, .showpagePoint {color:#333333;border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;padding:3px 7px;background-color:#CCCCCC;margin:0 3px;}
    .showpageOf {color:#333;text-decoration:none;padding:3px 7px;margin: 0 3px 0 0;}
    </style>
    <script style='text/javascript'>
    var numshowpage=10;
    var postperpage =5;
    var upPageWord="Previous";
    var downPageWord="Next";
    var urlactivepage=location.href;
    var home_page="/";
    </script>
    <script style='text/javascript' src='http://bloggerblogwidgets.googlecode.com/files/way2blogging_bloggerpagenavi.js'></script>

Steps to Add Pagination (numbered navigation or page numbers) to Blogger Blog (Blogspot)

First go to www.blogger.com
Go to your blog’s layout option.
Then click on Add a Gadget.
A list of gadgets is available here so all you need is to scroll down and select HTML/ JavaScript gadget.
Now copy and paste the code above in the gadget box.
Save and your blog pagination is ready.

If you have a blog and you are not automatically posting your blog posts to your Facebook and Twitter walls, then you might be missing out on this FREE and easy method to get huge traffic to your blog. This method brings free traffic from Facebook to your site and the tools that helps you achieve this are also absolutely free. So, what are you waiting for? Get started today!

Tools To Help Post Your Blog Posts To Your Facebook Wall Automatically

1. Twitterfeed : Twitterfeed is a feed that allows you to send your blog’s feed to not just Twitter as the name suggests but also to Facebook. You have to provide the URL of your blog’s RSS feed and how often you want posts to Facebook and Twitter. If you are using a self-hosted WordPress blog then your blog’s feed URL should look like yoursite.com/feed.
To get started, go to twitterfeed.com and register. Log in after your registration has been confirmed and click on “Create New Feed”. You will be shown a short form to fill. Fill the required information; “Feed Name” and “Blog URL or RSS Feed URL”. The feed name can be anything, just for identification purpose. There are also “Advance Settings” but you can leave that for now and just continue to Step 2. I hope to write on how to make use of this Advance Settings soon to show how to make the most of twitterfeed to get strong Twitter presence.

In Step 2, you should get a message that feed was successfully created. Now you have three Social community options you can post to, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Since this tutorial is about Facebook, click on Facebook link. On the next page, click the “Connect with Facebook” button, fill in your Facebook username and password; and authenticate. Click “Create Service” and all done. You are done!
You can now go back to the Feed you just set up and set the Advance Settings. The most important there is how often you want Twitterfeed to post your Blog Posts to your wall. You can set that under “Update Frequency”.

2. Wordbooker : This is a WordPress plugin for bloggers using WordPress, it allows you to cross-post your blog posts to your Facebook Wall and to any Facebook Fan Page / Group that you are an administrator for. The fact that you can post to Facebook Group is what I like most. Twitterfeed and Ping.fm (seesmic) can post to your wall and Facebook pages but not to Facebook Group.
Wordbooker gives you the option to post as an extract, a status update or even as a note. This will be determined by you based on what you want to achieve with posting blog posts to Facebook.

PLEASE NOTE : You MUST have the PHP Curl module enabled and configured in such a way that it can connect to the Facebook servers on a secure HTTP connection. If you are not sure you have this, you can ask your host about it.

These are just the two easy and absolutely free methods ways I have used in the past to automatically send my blog posts to Facebook. I once used ping.fm before they became seesmic but I left them because you could only create one feed back then and another that I tried briefly before I started experiencing problems using it is RSS Graffiti. I don’t know how these two services are doing now, maybe you can help with information on that if you still use them.

We hope this helps you!

The history is not more than a decade or so, however, blogging on the internet became popular in 1998 when blogger.com came into being. top adsense alternativesGoogle Adsense is without doubts the king of online ad services. So far, there is no competition between Adsense and any other ad network. It is run effectively by Google and has been improving and upgrading its systems time to time. It has high CPC (Cost Per Click) rates and many things more which has made it the top PPC network among all others. But what if you violate a program policy or Google mistakenly disabled your account?, you at that time will be thinking to find out alternatives for GA. However, it isn't necessary that you should think of Adsense alternatives when you got disabled. You should always think to find more monetization options for your blogs and websites. Internet is full of treasures and opportunities. Whether your Adsense account is active or not but you should consider the top ten ad networks which pay less than Adsense, but pay on time.
These are actually alternative websites to Google Adsense, but I'm again ensuring that they can be used along with Adsense as well as without it. Because GA is not the only solution to monetize your blog on. There is a lot more on the way, something big is also there than GA.

Top 10 Alternatives to Adsense in 2013

Here is the list of top 10 websites which provide you opportunity to insert their ads/banners inside your blogs/website and earn money same as you earn with Adsense.
1. BuySellAds.com
Buy Sell Ads
BSA is not a PPC network as Adsense is, but it is a direct banner ads network which works better than Adsense. And if we compare its policies with Adsense then BSA has very simple program policy, once your site is approved by BSA, it will be active forever as far as you work hard.
Requirement:
If you wanna use BSA on your blog then you must meet the minimum criteria described by BuySellAds.com. Following is a list of requirements your blog must have in order to be approved by BSA.
  • Your blog must have at least 50K monthly page views
  • Blog must be in English
  • Blog must be finished and not under construction
  • Must have more than 50 posts and fresh content
  • Pornography, illegal, hacking-cracking, casino sites are not accepted by BSA
  • Blog must have a professional design
Tribal Fusion ads
This is the second better alternative to AdSense which can earn you more money than Adsense, but its requirements are also more than BSA and Adsense. If your blog is meeting following criteria then must give a try to it.
  • Your blog should have 500,000K monthly page views
  • Top level domain like .com not .blogspot or .wordpress etc
  • Blog must have a professional design
  • Fresh and updated content
  • Blog must not publish illegal content
Tribal Fusion is a PPC network and works just fine like Adsense.
Qadabra ads
This is a great banner-ads network which doesn't required any specific criteria and you can use their ads on your site even if you have very low traffic. Just give it a try if Google Adsense, BSA and other don't work for you. You'll lose nothing, but will get something.
text link ads
This is another text-based advertising company which provides you great opportunities to earn money online with your content regardless your site's statistics. This network works best for text-based sites, this won't work for sites having wallpaper in large. But it is among the top alternatives of Adsense.
Yahoo ads

Media.net is the combine Ads network of Yahoo and bing search engines, and this is also a PPC network same like Google Adsense, it is considered as the major alternative to Adsense these days, the minimum pay out is $100 same as Adsense, and they directly pay you via Paypal. Also, unlike Adsense, you can directly contact them via email and discuss your problem. You can even apply for a publisher account if you have low traffic for your site/blog.
Infolinks ads
This is another text-based advertising network which is among the alternatives of Adsense, this network works effectively for sites having text content in large. Their payment methods are also similar to Adsense, like they pay you via Western Union and Paypal too. Also you can use it with Adsense altogether.
Chitika ads

Chitika is a PPC network and works same as Adsense, If any of the above networks don't work for you then you may want to get some money back from your content by using Chitika. Payment option is Paypal. There are 250,000 publishers already using Chitika for monetizing their websites.
8. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing
This is something bigger than Adsense, actually the main thing is your blog/site and the visitors/traffic you have. If you have a good amount of visitors/readers then Affiliate marketing can work best for you. You can use affiliates banners on your blog/site and when someone will purchase anything using your affiliate link then you are given a big commission for that. Here is the list of websites you can take products' links from and insert inside your site:
Kontera PPC
This is one more text-based PPC network similarly like infolinks. You must have text-content available on your blog in order to apply for a Kontera publisher account. However, traffic doesn't matter. This is a network which is used by thousands of web owners for monetization. You can use it for free.
clicksor ads
It is a PPC network and alternative to Google Adsense. It offers text, banner ads and also pop up ads. If you have a decent traffic on your blog/site then you may be surprised seeing earning with Clicksor. So if all of the above networks don't work then must give it a try.
Some More Alternatives to Google Adsense
I've given you every possible alternative to Google Adsense, and I've used many of them myself. I've used Adhitz.com and have got one payment, I've used infolinks and I'm about to get a payment from them. I've also used Chitika and BuySellads, and their result is indeed great. You can use them too and earn a decent amount without having Adsense ads on your blogs.
Over to YOU:
Have you found an alternative for your blog from above list? Or you may have more alternatives different than my list, do share them with me and my readers in the comment section.
Take Care and happy earnings!
You can easily sign up and create ad units within Blogger itself by clicking on the "Earnings" tab in your dashboard.
Once you have signed up, you designate where you want us to show the ads and we'll deliver them once your application has been approved.

AdSense serves relevant ads on your blogs:
AdSense works by matching text and image ads to your blog, based on your content and visitors. Ads are created and paid for by advertisers who want to promote their products.

Continue creating good content:
Spending time on improving your blog content can ensure that you get the most from AdSense. Sign up for AdSense so that you can get the latest news, tips and advice.

Custom Channels
Custom channels can be used to help you track which ad colours, format and placements are most effective on your site, or to provide answers to questions like:
  • Which ad units are the highest earners on my home page?
    (e.g. Leaderboard at the top of the page, rectangle in the middle of an article etc.)
  • Do my ads perform better with or without a border?
    (Tip: ads generally perform better without borders)
To get the most out of custom channels, it's best to track every ad unit. This way you'll have a core set of reports that you can use to aggregate data from all of your ad units, or to combine in different variations to gain deeper insight into your site's AdSense performance and to answer the kinds of questions listed at the top of this section. To learn how to set up custom channels please click here.

Ad Filtering
Within Google AdSense, you have the ability to block ads from specific ad categories by using the category filtering feature. This feature is currently available for ads in a limited set of languages, regardless of the language of the site. You can also use ‘Category filtering’ to block ads in certain sensitive categories from appearing on your site. We’ve listed a couple of examples of categories that you can block out, but for the full list click here. Categories that can be blocked include:
  • Cosmetic procedures and surgery
  • Dating
  • Drugs and supplements
  • Get rich quick
  • Politics
  • Religion
  • Weight loss
Performance Reports
Detailed reports can help you identify opportunities and Google AdSense allows you to view reports for a specific day or date range, on an aggregate level or broken down into your defined channels. In your AdSense account, on the Performance reports tab, the "Columns" button allows you to customise your report to view earnings by page views, ad requests, matched requests and individual ad impressions. Selecting one of these options will change the columns and data shown in the table and graph.
